Welcome to Mrs. Lefebvre's Science Class!

To be prepared for Science class, students should always bring:
  • Folder/Binder for papers
  • Paper (looseleaf or notebook)
  • Pencil
  • Correcting Pen

7th Grade


Graduation Standard 3: Structure, Function, Information Processing: Human Body


B1: Understands the parts and function the digestive system.

B2: Understands the parts and function the respiratory system.

B3: Understands the parts and function the circulatory system.

B4: Understands the parts and function the nervous system.

B5: Understands the parts and function the muscular and skeletal systems.

* C1 (HIGH): Understands how the different systems interact to keep a human alive.

D1: Understands the purpose and function of the reproductive  system.


Graduation Standard 3: Structure, Function, Information Processing: Cells and Organisms

E1: Understands the functions of organelles in plant and animal cells (nucleus, chloroplast, lysosome, cell membrane, ribosomes, Golgi Bodies, cytoplasm, cell wall, endoplasmic reticulum, vacuole, mitochondria )

* F1 (HIGH): Understands how plants and microorganisms use solar energy to perform photosynthesis.

* F2 (HIGH): Understands how cells use cellular respiration to provide the necessary energy to perform their functions.
