* F3 (HIGH): Is skilled at renaming fractions to simplest form. (3 -  In Complex Content , 4 - Problem Solving)

I can..
  • use fraction strips to estimate fraction size.
  • use pictures or other visuals to show or recognize equivalent fractions
  • rename equivalent fractions by multiplying both the numerator and denominator by the same number, essentially multiplying by 1(n/n).
  • use mental math skills (and/or divisibility rules) to find common factors for two numbers under 100.
  • use mental math skills (and/or divisibility rules) to find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) for two numbers under 100.
  • simplify fractions by dividing both the numerator and denominator by a common factor or GCF, essentially dividing the fraction by 1 (n/n)
  • test and prove when a fraction is in simplest form.
  • understand a simplest form fraction as a ratio of all of its equivalent fractions.
  • use common factors to simplify fractions to lowest terms in a word problems.  ** Score of 3
  • analyze and explain an application error within complex content.  ** Score of 4
